KTL is a dedicated towage company with a strong focus on towage technique with versatile and skilled staff able to overcome complex maritime situations. Originally formed in the Kaipara Harbour in 2007 with one tug and one fishing vessel the company has expanded to 3 tugs and one motorised barge and is now based in Whangarei. KTL is a dedicated operator that puts the customer first and works with many of NZ’s leading maritime and engineering companies. Safety of course is paramount in our operations and is reflected in our record of crew and vessel management plus safe outcomes for tasks undertaken. No damage to wharves, vessels and equipment.
Reliability: To maintain our place in the industry we must be reliable and be there when the customer requires us, no matter when that may be.
